NGC 2388.--NGC 2389 group. VLA D-configuration map at 4.86 GHz in Condon et
NGC 2388.-Data at 12 and 25 microns were not available for this galaxy;
the compactness was calculated by interpolation from the 10 and 20 micron
fluxes, which were measured at the position of the visible peak of the
galaxy. Multiaperture measurements (Fig 1), when combined with the
compactness estimate (Fig. 3), indicate a 10-25 micron characteristic
radius of about 500 pc. Unpublished VLA measurements by the authors show
that the 20 cm emission comes from a region that extended by about 4"
(1 kpc) in an east-west direction. The 2.2 micron peak was found to be
0.7" south of the visible peak.
