Re:UGC 04256
UGC 4256 (NGC 2532, KIG 232). It presents patchy H{alpha} emission along its
spiral arms. The general pattern of the H{alpha} velocity field is in good
agreement with the H I velocity field (WHISP website). The PA of the kinematical
major-axis of the H{alpha} velocity field (116^deg^) is in agreement with the H
I one, but is very different from the value given in HyperLeda (26^deg^) and in
the RC3 (10^deg^) as already noted by Marquez & Moles (1996). Indeed it is clear
that the outermost contours of the galaxy measured from broadband imaging are
elongated along the minor kinematical axis. Furthermore, morphological and
kinematical inclinations are determined using PAs separated by 90^deg^.
Nevertheless, the H I disc is elongated along its kinematical major-axis,
leading to an inclination ~30^deg^. Our H{alpha} rotation curve rapidly reaches
a plateau climbing up to a maximum velocity ~100 km s^-1^ around the optical
radius (D_25_/2) in agreement with Marquez & Moles (1996) from H{alpha} s lit

Re:NGC 2532
A fine, nearly round spiral 1.5' in diameter; moderately bright. It has a sharp
stellar nucleus; the whorls are rather open, and show a number of almost
stellar condensations. 22 s.n.
