4 note(s) found in NED.

Re:MRK 0555
Approximately 30% of the UV emission originates in a circumnuclear ring of ~1",
and we can also see other regions of emission, either diffuse or in the form of
clumps, at distances larger than 10" from the nucleus (Fig. 1, left). The
H{alpha} and radio images show strong emission associated with these regions,
besides emission along the spiral arms of the galaxy, which was not covered by
the UV image.

There are three main arm connections with
the center in NGC 245, but, as in NGC 3089 to
the left, the surface brightness of these connections
is low. The central structures become the
bright principal arms at about a third of a disk
radius from the center. Four main bright arms
arc evident near the outside of the pattern.
The redshift is v_o = 4275 km/s.

Very chaotic asymmetric spiral
Blue
Very blue and massive spiral arcs and patches
Appears strongly distorted, but no disturbing object visible
Companion 3.0, 337, 0.4 x 0.3
Several faint objects in vicinity

Re:NGC 0245
Very small, very bright nucleus,
eccentric in pseudo (r): 0.7 arcmin x 0.6 arcmin.
100-inch plate underexposed: probably the lens only.
