= IC 2609.
Photo: Lick 13.
Same as note in NGC, where its declination
is wrong by 14 arcmin.
= IC 2609 (see Helwan 15).
Very small, bright nucleus.
A very narrow spindle 1.6' long in p.a. 82^deg^. Nucleus nearly stellar and
fairly bright; it is displaced to one side of the central line, suggesting
absorption effects; doubtless an edgewise spiral. See Abs. Eff. 11 s.n.
