Core plus twin-jet radio source.
Analysis of this source, both in the PSPC and in the HRI, shows that
~3 per cent of the total emission is contributed by an unresolved
source. This is consistent with the findings of Massaglia et al. (1996)
who find a contribution from a point source of < 6 per cent.

The characteristic circular dust lane of the S0_3_ subtype is
pronounced in NGC 3665, although there is no outer envelope as seen in
other S0 galaxies.
NGC 3665: A disk dominated S0 with a beautiful system of dust rings
(see photo in WCAG).
The presented map is obtained combining the B array and the new C array
data. The structure has remained essentially the same than in the
previous published map, i.e. a double "naked" jet.
NGC 3665. The source is extended in a direction roughly perpendicular
to optical major axis.
The parent galaxy has a dust lane (Kotanyi and Ekers, 1979) which is almost
perpendicular to the radio jets. WSRT observations at 610, 1415 and 4995
MHz are discussed by Kotanyi (1979).
