NGC 3673 (SBb, 1"~115 pc, I=51.6^deg^)
There is a small twist (17^deg^ between a=3" and 42") inside the large-scale
bar (e_max_=0.73 at a=42")

NGC 3673 is similar to NGC 3705 above (and is therefore similar
to the earlier Sa galaxy 4274; panels 66, 88), except that NGC 3673 is
seen at a more-face-on orientation. This permits a better view of the
nearly complete inner ring from which the left outer arm in the print
here appears to begin. The outer arms have more of the characteristics
of the grand design than of the MAS pattern.
Overexposed center, dusty bar, knotty (r): 1.3 x 0.8; thin arms with
many faint knots. Several faint galaxies near north.
= NGC 3673
Small, bright nucleus in weak bar with dark markings. (r): 1.5 arcmin x
0.7 arcmin in a lens: 2.0 arcmin x 1.0 arcmin. Faint filamentary arms.
HA 88, 2 dimensions (after Helwan) is are for the lens only.
