NGC 3837. - This E galaxy is located in the Abell 1367 cluster. It
shows as a slightly elongated structure on the MUV frame (Fig. 23b).
NGC 3837. This E1 galaxy is one of the smaller elliptical galaxies of the
cluster A1367, which has NGC 3842 (see below) as the brightest member.
NGC 3837 is situated ~3' from NGC 3842, and is a weak source of radio
continuum emission (Del Castillo et al. 1988). We obtain a three sigma
upper limit to the H_2_ mass of 9 x 10^8^ M_sun_.
