VCC 362: Given that its optical redshift is 156 +/- 44 km s^-1^, our H I
detection (V_HI_ = 2350 km s^-1^, W_50_ = 92 km s^-1^ and I_HI_ = 0.40 Jy km
s^-1^) must be due to confusion. At 4.9' lies VCC 367, a 17.4 mag
object without published optical redshift, for which Hoffman et al. (1987)
measured V_HI_ = 2362 km s^-1^, W_50_ = 98 km s^-1^ and I_HI_ = 0.59 Jy km s^-1^
at Arecibo. VCC 362 remains undetected in spite of the noise reduction from 3.5
mJy, as reported by Magri (1994), to 0.44 mJy rms in the present work.
