Re:VCC 1196
VCC 1196: We did not detect this galaxy, with an rms noise level of 0.57 mJy.
Its optical redshift is 908+/-36 km s^-1^. An Effelsberg H I detection was
reported by Huchtmeier & Richter (1986) at 2422 km s^-1^, with W_50_ = 446 km
s^-1^ and I_HI_ = 6.5 +/- 1.5 Jy km s^-1^, i.e. an average line strength of 15
mJy, which we assume is spurious and due to RFI.

Re:NGC 4468
A10 NGC 4468
NGC 4468 is a member of the Virgo cluster and has an uncertain
classification as S0 in the RC3. Our exposures for the major and minor
axes of NGC 4468 were too short to provide good spatial detail for the
LOSVD higher order terms. Taking our errors into account, h_3_ is almost
entirely consistent with zero for both the major and minor axes. h_4_ shows
negative values for both major and minor axis (see Fig. A10).
Probably a low surface brightness dwarf elliptical or S0 galaxy, the
measured rotation and velocity dispersion for this galaxy are very low,
with v/{sigma} ~ 1.0. These measurements mark the limits achievable for
the spectral resolution of our data.
