UCM1307+2910 NGC 5000, SB(rs)bc in RC3 and Sb (i=35 degrees) in near IR Coma
survey of Gavazzi & Trinchieri (1989) and analyzed in the van Haarlem et al.
(1993) dynamic study. According to our data it is a very luminous (Mr=-22.3)
SBb galaxy (i=39+/-4 degrees) with the bar oriented EW.
Asymmetric spiral with an extended arm pointing at a small companion.

MCG +05-31-144 = NGC 5000; 14m, V_0_=+5643 (Kintner 1971), SBb? with
extremely thin fine arms. The object to the right can be a star.
M 51 case?, very faint condensation at tip of spiral arm at 0.9, 165,
companion or star?
Companion 1.0, 248, 0.4 x 0.3, interaction?
