The central bulge is small enough in
NGC 5908 to put the galaxy very late in the Sb
morphological box, or more appropriately in the Sc
box. However, the lack of lumpiness in the disk
(seen despite the high inclination angle)
precludes the type being as late as Sc which the
small bulge size would otherwise suggest.
The redshift is v_o = 3467 km/s.
