Re:NGC 1888
With NGC 1889, forms = Arp 123 an interacting pair at 0.3 arcmin,
consisting of a large Sc with faint outer arms and a small E0 in contact.

Re:MCG -02-14-013
Interacting pair in contact (with MCG -02-14-014)
{rho} = 0.3 arcmin.
Galaxy F is perturbed at its southeast end;
on the side opposite to that of the E galaxy
there is an extended haze.
No faint companions.

Re:NGC 1888
Closely interacting pair with NGC 1889 at 0.3 arcmin.
Anonymous Sc spiral at 10.8 arcmin [north-following].
Magnitude and Colors: for NGC 1888 + NGC 1889 by Pettit (1954).
Helwan 22 has NGC 1888 "in E 145 deg.
p.a. = 60 deg. in Lick 13 is an error.

Re:NGC 1888
HMS Note No. 032
Slit on both members of close pair: NGC 1888 and NGC 1889
Spectra measured as of one object since lines in both
nebulae have very nearly the same redshift (HMS Plate IVh).

Re:NGC 1888
1888 is 2' long; quite narrow; in p.a. 60^deg^; an irregular spiral seen
edgewise; 1889 is small, round, quite bright; almost stellar, nearly opposite
the middle of 1888 and 20" distant. A narrow edgewise spiral, 1.8' long, not
noted in the N. G. C. is 36s f., 4.5' n. See Abs. Eff. 8 s.n.
