NGC 7339 The late type spiral NGC 7339 is accompanied by the galaxy NGC
7332 at a projected distance of 5.2', the latter one being a peculiar
S0 galaxy, which has a velocity difference of {DELTA}_v_ = -141 km s^-1^
in comparison to NGC 7339. A supernova (SN 1989 L) has been discovered
in NGC 7339 (Barbon et al. 1999). Several bright, and compact knots are
seen in our H{alpha} image, but no extraplanar emission is detected.
NGC 7332, which is also visible on our frame, is completely absent in
H{alpha}.

markings With strongly foreshortened, knotty, spiral arms. Nearly spindle.
Lick 13 and Lund 6 dimensions are for the bright part only.
Non-interacting pair with NGC 7332 at 5.0 arcmin.

Very faint patchy spiral 1.6' x 0.3' in p.a. 95^deg^; dark lane down the middle.
