Notes for object NGC 7590

11 note(s) found in NED.

1. 2005ApJS..157...59L
Re:NGC 7590
This Sbc spiral at a distance of 17.3 Mpc has a Seyfert 2 nucleus and very
bright spiral arms in the inner part. ULX1 (IXO 87) is close to knotty features
on the spiral arm. Its luminosity showed a drop from 6.5 * 10^39^ to 3.4 *
10^39^ ergs s^-1^ in a year.

Re:NGC 7590
NGC 7590: our two methods give results that coincide, so we
adopt their average values, as they are also in reasonable
agreement with the few available photometric estimates.

Re:NGC 7590
NGC 7590: This object is not detected in our data; the upper limit to
the flux density from PTI is S < 3 mJy at 13 cm (R94).

Re:NGC 7590
4.1.16. NGC 7590
No extended emission is present in our H{alpha} + [N II] image (Fig. 1n). Much
of the emission comes from the clumpy H II regions in the disk.

Re:NGC 7590
3.1.19. NGC 7590
We did not obtain radio images of NGC 7590, and we are not aware of any
published radio maps of this galaxy. Wright (1974) quotes a flux density of
70 mJy at 1.4 GHz (and 2.7 GHz) from single-dish observations, and Ward et al.
(1980) show that the radio spectrum is quite flat.

Re:NGC 7590
Forms a pair with NGC 7599.
Both have the same handedness to their spiral pattern.
