NGC 941 is in an apparent group with
NGC 936 (SB0_2/3_/SBa; panels 90, 106, S9) at a
separation of 12.6', and with an anonymous
SBcd at a separation of 12.3' whose stellar
content resolves at the same level as in NGC 941,
and as a wide pair with NGC 955 (Sb; panel 150)
at a separation of 31'. The redshifts are
v_o(936) = 1512 km/s, v_o(941) = 1717 km/s, and
v_o(955) = 1641 km/s. At the mean redshift
distance of 32 Mpc (H = 50), the respective
projected linear separations from NGC 941 are
117 kpc for NGC 936, 288 kpc for NGC 955,
and 114 kpc for the anonymous SBcd companion.
These separations are all smaller than
the radius of the Local Group.
Individual stars may begin to resolve in both
NGC 941 and the SBcd companion at about V = 22;
discrimination and individual identification
of the stars and the numerous HII regions will be
necessary by the standard methods.
Spiral galaxy with multiple arms.
In a non-interacting pair with NGC 0936, separated by 12.6 arcmin.
Anonymous spiral at 13.6 arcmin from NGC 0941.

Very small, bright nucleus.
Pseudo (r): 0.5 arcmin x 0.25 arcmin
Filamentary, knotty, poorly resolved arms.
Non-interacting pair with NGC 0936 at 12.6 arcmin.
Non-interacting pair an anonymous spiral at 13.6 arcmin.
A faint, patchy, somewhat oval, spiral about 2' in total length. Very faint,
almost stellar nucleus. A faint nebula, probably an irregular spiral, 1' x 0.2'
lies 12' s.
