B0357-264 Drinkwater et al. (1997) give "z = 1.47?" for this
source. Their spectrum does not show any strong features and it is not
clear from their paper which features this redshift is based on. Our
spectrum covers a similar wavelength range to that of the Drinkwater et
al. spectrum but does not show sufficient features to measure a
redshift. We therefore classify this source as a BL.
Drinkwater et al. (1997MNRAS.284...85D) note a redshift of 1.47(?);
Our observations show this is a BL Lac object (Paper II).
