1968Afz.....4..117T Single Radio Sources in the Vicinity of Galaxies Tovmasian, G. M. Abstract Evidence has been obtained for the existence of single radio sources in the vicinity of normal spiral galaxies that are physically associated with them. The mean distances of the radio sources from the corresponding galaxies is about 30-40 Mpc. The spectra of some of these radio satellites show a characteristic change of slope in the decimetric wavelength range. No Similar enhancement in the density of radio sources has been observed near more distant clusters of galaxies.
