1990A&AS...86..109G Near-infrared observations of galaxies in the coma supercluster and in the Cancer cluster. II. G. Gavazzi, G. Trinchieri and A. Boselli Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera, via Breza 28, Milano, Italy Osservatorio Astronomico di Arcetri, Largo Fermi 5, Firenze, Italy Universita degli Studi di Milano, via Celoria 16, Milano, Italy Received March 26; accepted May 9, 1990 Abstract. -- We present new near infrared observations of 110 galaxies in the Coma/A1367 supercluster region, and 40 galaxies in the Cancer cluster. These observations are part of an ongoing investigation of the properties of normal galaxies and of their near-IR emission, which aims at obtaining homogeneous, multifrequency data for a large sample of galaxies in different density environments. The addition of these observations to the sample presented in Gavazzi and Trinchieri (1989) raises the number of Coma/A1367 galaxies with near-IR data to 275. Our measurements, together with data published by Bothun et al. (1985), give a sample of 45 spirals in the Coma cluster. Key words: galaxies - spiral; galaxies - clusters of; photometry; infrared radiation.
