Received March 20; accepted July 30, 1992 Abstract. - The absolute spectrophotometry of 67 AGNs (de Bruyn & Sargent 1978) is used for Seyfert type classification and for computation of synthetic magnitudes, colours and K-correction for the UBV system. Synthetic spectra for Sy1, Sy 1.5 and Sy2 galaxies are constructed and mean colours and K-corrections are derived. Their variation with redshift are presented with polynomial fittings. The photometric properties of AGNs suppose a further development of more refined Seyfert types. Key words: galaxies - nuclei of - active - Seyfert - photometry
