1993AJ....106..390W SPECTRAL TYPES FOR OBJECTS IN THE KISO SURVEY. VIII. DATA FOR 144 STARS GARY WEGNER AND JEAN DUPUIS Department of Physics & Astronomy, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire 03755-3528 Electronic mail: wegner@kayz.dartmouth.edu, jdupuis@cea.berkeley.edu Received 1992 September 21; revised 1993 March 2 ABSTRACT The spectral classes of 144 stars found in the Kiso Schmidt Ultraviolet excess survey are given. The observations were made at the Michigan- Dartmouth-MIT Observatory with the Mark III spectrograph and CCD detectors on the 2.4 m Hiltner and 1.3 m McGraw-Hill telescopes. The original spectra cover approximately the {lambda}{lambda}4100-7200 spectral range at about 12 A resolution. Interesting objects found in this part of the survey include: 40 subdwarfs, 18 definite DA and 4 DB white dwarfs, and 26 QSO and emission-line objects. Some of the more peculiar objects are described in the text.
