Wisotzki Hamburger Sternwarte, Gojenbergsweg 112, D-21029 Hamburg, Germany Email: dreimers@hs.uni-hamburg.de Received May 30; accepted July 21,1995 Abstract. - We present a compilation of 160 QSOs and Seyfert 1 galaxies discovered in the course of the Hamburg/ESO Survey. The QSOs were selected from digitised objective prism plates in 66 ESO/SRC fields. We give J2000 and B1950 positions, redshifts and blue magnitudes, and show high S/N low-resolution spectra. Redshifts are in the range 0 <~ z <~ 3.1, the covered magnitude range is 14 <~ B <~ 18. Key words: quasars: general - surveys - galaxies: Seyfert - galaxies: distances and redshifts
