   FIGURES 1-19. Contour plots of the radio maps and overlays on E-prints of
 the POSS, except for the two clusters A14 and A133 (Figs. Ia,b and 2a,b) where
 J-plates of the ESO/SRC survey were used. The contour intervals depend on the
 rms of each map and have the values: 2{sigma}, 4{sigma} (labelled), 6{sigma},
 8{sigma} (labelled), 12{sigma}, 16{sigma} (labelled), 28{sigma}, 40{sigma}
 (labelled), 60{sigma}, 80{sigma} (labelled), 2{sigma} negative contours are
 shown dashed. The half power beamwidth is shown by a hatched circle and the
 Abell cluster centres are indicated by an 'X', the cluster radius by a circle.
 Large bold numbers correspond to source numbers in tables IIa,b, small 'x'
 represent positions of radio sources from other surveys. A '*' indicates the
 centre of an X-ray error box. Polarization vectors are given where significant
 polarization has been detected and show the orientation of the E-vectors.
 Their length is proportional to the polarized intensity with the scale given
 by the bar at the top righthand corner of the map.
