5.4. An Orientation Tool for the Galactic Plane

The ``Milky Way Concordance'' is a graphical tool to create charts with objects from catalogues covering the Galactic Plane, as described by [Barnes & Myers (1997)], available at the URL info.aoc.nrao.edu/~pbarnes/concord. Currently 17 catalogues including HII regions, planetary and reflection nebulae, dark clouds, and supernova remnants are available to create colour-coded finding charts of user-specified regions.
