NGC 2655. This galaxy is classified as Snn by van den Bergh (1960) and E4p by Morgan (1958). It is remarkable in having heavy dust arcs south of the nucleus. No obvious HII regions are seen on the lambda6563 photograph. Another unusual feature of this galaxy is a bright wisp, 93" north by east of the nucleus, visible on all three photographs.
