NGC 4303. - This galaxy appears to have a great deal of dust both in the clearly defined primary lanes of central regions and distributed in spiral lanes in the outer parts. The luminous arms appear sandwiched between these lanes of dust. HII regions are found beyond the limits of the section of the galaxy reproduced in this atlas.
