Galaxies are arranged in the catalog in order of increasing right ascension.

We simultaneously compiled a similar list for normal S galaxies, which lie in the declination interval of [0, +30°], however. In articles to come we will give the results of a comparative analysis of data on galaxies in these two samples.

We wish to thank Dr. G. Paturel for his kind assistance in making maps for over 1000 galaxies, using the LEDA data set. In the present investigation we used the Lyon - Meudon extragalactic data set (LEDA), compiled by the LEDA CRAL team at Lyon Observatory (France), and the NASA/IRAS extragalactic data set (NED), produced by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at Caltech under a NASA contract.
