Abstract. The current status of big bang nucleosynthesis is summarized. Particular attention is paid to recent observations of ⁴He and ⁷Li and their systematic uncertainties. Be and B are also discussed in connection to recent ⁷Li observations and the primordial ⁷Li abundance.
