As the Catalogue survey progressed it was found that the vast majority of objects in this Category were at very low galactic latitude and were obviously reflection nebulae. Only very conspicuous members of this Category were noted and accordingly they have little impact on the Catalogue, contributing less than one percent to the total number of objects listed. One example of a reflection nebula is appended in the subsequent Miscellaneous Category, on page 22.5, because of its special positioning with respect to a background group of galaxies.
