NGC 3623. Burbidge et al. (1961b) have obtained the rotation curve for this galaxy. Two emission regions were identified, the bright knot almost due south of the nucleus and a fainter outer one not detected in the H photograph of this survey. Burbidge et al. (1961b) conclude that the inner bright knot is departing strongly from circular motion.
