4.10. Hyperfine Structure and Isotopic Data

Kurucz (1993) has reviewed isotopic data for nearly all naturally occuring elements. Asymmetries in emission line profiles due to hyperfine components and consequent errors in the determination of velocity fields and abundances are discussed.
