3.2 Infrared

IRAS sources at 60 and 100µm have been detected coincident with several cluster cooling flows (de Jong et al 1990, Bregman et al 1990, Grabelsky & Ulmer 1990). There is some possibility of confusion with Galactic cirrus at these wavelengths but if confirmed, the more luminous sources indicate a further major radiative energy loss from cluster cores (Bregman 1992).
