4.7. Line Broadening

The most recent compilation is the ``Bibliography on Atomic Line Shapes and Shifts'' by J.R. Fuhr and A. Lesage (NIST Special Publication 366, Supplement 4, 1993), including extensive literature references.

As part of the Opacity Project, Seaton (1987, 1988, 1989, 1990) has developed widely applicable approximations to hydrogenic and non-hydrogenic systems, the former including Stark plus electron impact broadening, and the latter with electon impact.

A general disucssion is given by Dimitrijevic and Konjevic (1987).
