AbstractH I observations with the 305-m Arecibo telescope are reported of 82 spiral galaxies mostly types Sb-Scd, in the clusters Abell 1367, Abell 1656 (Coma), and Zwicky 74-23 (1400.4 + 0949). Reduction procedures, observational uncertainties, and problems with a comparison sample of field galaxies are discussed. The H I properties of these galaxies are found to correlate well with the morphological classification and X-ray properties of each cluster. It is found that the spiral-rich, low-density cluster Z 74-23 contains spirals similar in their H I properties to the standard sample of nearby field spirals. The spirals in the outer region of A 1367 also appear 'normal' in their properties, while those in the inner region may be slightly deficient in H I.
