AbstractAs a part of a programme of studies of clusters of galaxies at centimeter wavelengths, we have observed eleven Abell clusters at 11.1cm using the 100 m radio telescope. The angular resolution at this wavelength is 4.6 arcmin, and an r.m.s. noise limit of 5 mK was reached in most of the observations. This enables us to investigate the distribution of low level emission near point sources in the clusters.
